Ashley Janke is a curator and writer based in Chicago, IL USA. Her research and curatorial work investigates feminisms, self-organization, institutional discourse, and the practices of those operating in the periphery.


She is the Assistant Curator at Wrightwood 659 and a collective member of Adds Donna. She has developed projects at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Cubitt Gallery , Enclave LAB in London, Azkuna Zentroa in Bilbao and After School Special in Milwaukee. Her written contributions can be found on This is Tomorrow and Temporary Art Review.
